Clark, president of one club, was appointed to represent us as delegate to the Democratic County convention. While we are not all Democrats, wc wish to thank the Democrats for giving us a chance and a hearing over here. Where are the Republicans all this time? Do you not know that there are over three hundred of us here from Ford to Heist? We might count a little. How about it? Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Heyty and family fam-ily left for Los Angeles last Tuesday evening, on account of the illness of their little daughter, six years of age. She has been placed in a hospital, but the word received from Mr. Heytz yesterday was not encouraging. Our deepest sympathy goes out to our friends and we truly hope the Httlo one will recover soon. |
