Show SCHOOLS TO BEGIN WORK SEPTEMBER 16 A sad day for some of the youngsters young-sters and a glad day for others, the district and high schools of the county coun-ty will begin the winter's work on Monday, September 16. A considerable number of new faces are in evidence in the corps of teachers teach-ers engaged for the coming year and, though no more than to be expected, the pedagogues of the gentler sex outnumber out-number the male teachers by better than five to one, some schools being given over entirely to the ladies while others have but a meager representation representa-tion of the sterner sex. No particular trouble was experienced in securing teachers for the grades but it was not such an easy matter lining up the principals and high school teachers.
