At Tuesday night's regular meeting of the town board Orson Madsen was appointed town clerk to take the place of Russel Snow who has moved away. A party of cattlemen from Castledale, Castle-dale, joined by others from Orangeville, left the first of the week for a conference con-ference with forest officials on the other side. Leroy Taylor has purchased the vulcanizing vul-canizing from the garage and will move it to Orangeville where he will look after the tire troubles of all who come his way. T. W. Dyches left this week for Mt. Pleasant where he assumes charge of the seminary work and, in addition, will direct Religion class work for the North Sanpete stake. T. R. Faddis left the first of the week for Latuda, the new Spring canyon can-yon camp where he spent the winter. The family will follow him to that place -in a few weeks. Rasmus Jacobsen of Emery sojourned so-journed in the Dale for a few hours last Wednesday having come up with three of his grandsons who were entraining en-training for Camp Kearney. Mrs. James Crawford of Manti, who, accompanied by her daughter, has been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. A. D. Keller, and son Edmund, returned re-turned Sunday to her home. No business of any importance was transacted when the board of county commissioners met last Tuesday, Monday Mon-day being Labor dav. The meetlni? was one of the briefest on record. Ervin Anderson, who volunteered for the training course at the University Univer-sity of Utah, returned home the first of the week, his physical condition not permitting him to undertake general military service. He also al-so visited with his sister, Mrs. Orange Olsen, and family in Ephraim. Castledale is gainer one A-l musician by the transaction. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Johnson of Orangeville Or-angeville will leave tomorrow for an ; extended visit with their three sons i and two daughters in Cowley, Wyo-; Wyo-; ming. They will also visit in Salt Lake i and Idaho on the way there. Joseph Christensen, prominent development de-velopment man of Grace, Idaho, and i brother to Lars Christensen, was in ; the Dale last week. He was out here ' partly to look into the possibilities of I a flour mill in the vicinity of Price. I F. E. Anderson, who has been affiliated af-filiated with the Indian service in various vari-ous parts of the West, has joined his wife and young son here. The latter have been visiting for several weeks with Mrs. Anderson's mother, Mrs. Peter Johansen. Douglas Fairbanks, the great movie idol will appear in Castledale tomorrow tomor-row (Sunday) evening when "Reggie Mixes In" will occupy the screen at the local Electric theatre. Bessie Love will play with him. The Ford educational edu-cational reel will also be shown. Word was received late in the week that it would be necessary for Mrs. Emma Christensen to undergo another operation before she could leave the hospital in Salt Lake. She and her parents and her family of little ones have the sympathy of the whole community. com-munity.
