Show FERRON i' Our Relief Society Red Cross meeting meet-ing was a grand guccesB. All who do not attend these meetings do not fulfill ful-fill their full patriotic duty to their country and, besides, they miss a great deal that they cannot get elsewhere. The program was rendered in fine style. The talks given by Clara Singleton Sin-gleton and Eunice Nelson were well worth one's time to listen to. The solo by Stella Jensen and the piano selection by Edrie Pettey won fine favor; and the recitation by Lilian Peterson and the Red Cross reading hy Annie Stevens were parts no one should have missed. The lovely silk sofa pillow that was partly raffled off in the meeting a month ago, was finished up in this meeting, but . the holder of the lucky number (102) was not present. So the Red Cross worker who holds that number should call for his pillow. Now, readers, if you are not convinced con-vinced that there is some patriotic spirit obtaining and duties being performed per-formed in these meetings, just come to the next one (the first Tuesday in October) and see for yourself. w. s. s. |
