Thursday of causes incident to age He had been in poor health for several months Mr Bagley the first member of the L D S church to be elected to a state office In Idaho was born May 16 1862 at Draper son of John and Mary Allen Bagley y His parents were among the first settlers of Bear Lake valley in Idaho where they moved when he was three years old He received his education at Brigham Young college earning a degree in civil engineering and later was graduated from the law sCh school ol of the University of Michigan Michigan Michigan Michi Michi- gan in 1888 He became district attorney for forthe forthe forthe the Idaho Fifth judicial district and was elected attorney general in 1903 After serving in the state office for two years he divided his time between law lw practice in Bear Lake valley and Salt Lake City For a number of years he was a a. p partner In the law firm of Leckie LeckI Bartch and Bagley of Salt Lake City Mr Bagley was a long life Republican Republican Republican Re Re- publican and was an intimate friend of the late Senator William WilliamB E. E Borah of Idaho and the later Senator Reed Smoot of Utah He is survived by his widow Margaret A A.
