Show DEATHS (j Jas. D. Olsen died at the Winters' f Hospital in this city last Sunday eve- ning. He had been suffering for j some time and was operated upon for appendicitis, but it teemed that he, , had gone too long before undergo-1 1 ing the operation. , Mr. Olsen was i he son of Jas. Olsen Ol-sen and was in Mount Pleasant on the 3rd of December, 1S68 and 'has ? made this his home most of his life He leaves a wife and six children tc mourn his departure. Funeral services were held at the North Ward Meeting House Wednesday Wednes-day at 1 o'clock. It was attended by ; a large number of his friends and relatives. Joseph Seely, A. Merz, ) Pi es. C. N. Lund and Bishop H. C. Jacobs were the speakers. The Choi; furnished sacred music. The funeral services over the remains re-mains of Howard Simpson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Simpson were hold at the North Ward Meeting House last Saturday at 2 o'clock. The choir sang "I Need Thee Every Hour.'.' Prayer was offered by Jos. Monsen. Singing "Sometime We'll Understand." A. Merz, John Carter Car-ter were the speakers. Little Miss Phillis Watson and Miss Winnie Frandsen sang a duet. - Abraham Johnson pronounced the benediction. Funeral services over the remains of George Francis Mc-Gaan were held last Friday afternoon at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Mc-Gann. Mc-Gann. A large number of friends and relatives were in attendance. |
