Show Rabbit Hunts Are Disastrous For Bunny Thousands Killed By Hunters; Provo Man Is Injured Fully 500 Salt Lake sportsmen participated par-ticipated in a rabbit hunt between Mount Pleasant and Spring City yesterday, yes-terday, returning at 9:45 o'clock last night well pleaded with the day's oating. Moreover they brought 1300 rabbits with them to prove that the day had not been without results. The party left Salt Lake at 7 o ' clock yesterday mirnine in a special train over the Denver &Rio Grande. H. M. Cashing, traveling passenger agent, was in charge of the train. At Mount Pleasant the hunters were met by the members of the Mt. Pleasant Gun club and a delegation of citizens. Only one accident occurred to mar th pleasure of the day. Vern Hardy of Provo w is struck by some scattering scatter-ing shot fired from the gun of a reckless reck-less shooter. Stray shots lodged in his breast, abdomen and jaw. He was taken to Mount Pleasant, where he was given medical attention.
