Show Elmira Barton entertained the G. L G. club at her home Friday afternoon. after-noon. Sewing, music and a dainty luncheon were enjoyed by all present. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Madsen were host and hostess at a very elaborate dinner party at ;heir home, Sunday afternoon, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Lyon of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Lyon was formerly Miss Rhea Drage of this city. Covers were laid for ten. The guests were: Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Lyon, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Drage, Harry Ericksen, Tressa Lar-sen, Lar-sen, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Johnson. Fallowing the dinner, music and games were enjoyed. Tressa Lar-sen Lar-sen won first prize and C. T. Drage the booby, in the progressive game. Miss Viola Whittaker entertained the 0. N. 0. girls, at her home Thursday evening. The Misses Elda and Dale Hy venor, Irene Nielson and Indra Whittaker were special guests. The evening wasunusuall pleasant. Mrs. F. Ericksen was hostess oi the 20' Century club on Thutsday last. Mrs. L., H. Rooison gave Part I of t-he Stoddard's Lecture "Florence." "Flor-ence." Mrs. H. S. Neilson read "The Life of Whittier. Delicious refreshments were served the fourteen four-teen members and friends who enjoyed en-joyed the social hour afterwards. The Misses Lucy Eager, Vivian Blink, Iv Forrister and Ethel Mar tin of Salt Lake City were guests ot the Misses Elda and Dale Havenor last Sunday. Miss Patra La1 -en entertained a number of her friends at a party Sunday. Refreshments were served and a pleasant evening was spent. The following were present: Rhoda and Ulla Jorgenen, Opal Lursen, Ruby Larson, Ida Jorgensen, Pearl Jorgensen, Ruby 0;sen, iay Jorgeu-son. |
