Show SPORTSMEN OF SPRINGVILLE HOLDSESSION Over one hundred members and guests were present Monday evening eve-ning nt the sportmens' meeting and social, sponsored by the Springville Protective Fish and Game association associa-tion for the boy scouts of this community. President Virgil Hafen was in charge. The scouts were admitted during the evening as junior members of the Springville Protective association. associa-tion. Deputy Commissioner George ! Cox, J. F. Kingate, Marshall Frank Cellventra and Superintendent William Wil-liam Whitney of the Springville fish hatchery were the principal speakers. Each discussed an interesting inter-esting phase of the fish and game situation of this vicinity and also told some interesting "fish stories.". Marshal Cellventra volunteered his services to teach the boy scouts some of the outstanding principles and rules of a policeman. Boxing matches under the supervision super-vision of Coach "Eel" Leddingham proved to be attractive features of the evening's entertainment. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to all present pres-ent at the conclusion of the meeting. |
