Show FUNERAL FOR YOUTH HELD HERE FRIDAY Funeral services were held Friday Fri-day afternoon at the Wheeler Funeral home for Fay Chcrring-ton, Chcrring-ton, 14, eldest son of J. M. Chn-inn-ton of this city who died Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at a Salt Lake hospital hos-pital from meningitis. The speakers were Ad fiber t G. Thorn and Seymour I... Mmrton-hall Mmrton-hall Jr., of the Fourth ward bishopric, bishop-ric, Alva Zahriskie offered the invocation in-vocation and S.. 1j. Mrndcnhall Si the benediction. Musical numbers were furnished by Glenn and Harold Holley and by t he Peerless quartet from Mapleton. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Ralph and Sterling, Ster-ling, and one sister Beverly. The vouth was born in Springville, Spring-ville, November 16, 191fi. and had always lived there. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Louise Bird of Springville, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wing of Salt Lake, and Walter Wal-ter Bird of Pleasant Grove. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery and the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Byron Mendenhall of Pay-son. |
