Show Mrs. Phoebe Singleton was hostess host-ess Sunday at dinner for a number of relatives. Those from out. of town were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Singleton. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Singleton and families of Kurcka, and Mr. and Mrs. George Straw of this city. The dining table held an attractive centerpiece of daffodils. daffo-dils. Following dinner the conference con-ference program was enjoyed over the radio. The home economics girls of the eighth grade chaperoned by Miss Lucille Bryant and Miss Lucille Curtis of the faculty enjoyed a hike to Spirng Creek canyon Monday evening. Later the party roasted weinies and had a splendid time playing games and singing songs. About twenty-five class members a t tended. The VedJ. club of the Springville hig1! school enjoyed a unique social and weinie roHst in Hobble creek canyon Saturday evening. Outdoor games were featured and a general good time was enjoyed by all. Club members and guests present -were: Lillian Bird. Lenore Thorn. Elaine Bird. Lucille Henrie. Eileen Bird, Ida Packard.
