JAMES MAYER Mrs. Duane Yardley and children chil-dren and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Blackner spent an enjoyable three days in Boulder City, Nev., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Swindlehurst. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stoker in Cedar City. Mrs. Irene Stewart and son, Mr. and Mrs. John Jimenez and children chil-dren were in Joseph with Mr. and Mrs. John Balch for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiv-ing. Thanksgiving dinner was enjoyed en-joyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Walker by Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Ed-win Gale and three boys, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holbrook of Tujunga, Calif.; Mrs. Josephine Thompson and Larry, Mrs. Emma Walker, Robert, Deanna and Ronnie. Mr. and Mrs. George Mayer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mayer May-er and family enjoyed Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer. Visiting at the home of Mr and Mrs. Brose Bradshaw for Thanksgiving Thanks-giving were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene White and family of Oregon; Mrs. Aleen Butler and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Clements and family, and Mr. and Mrs. James Sly, all of Springville. Spending Thanksgiving and the week end at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Loft-house, Loft-house, were Mr. and Mrs. Albin Holm and Marion Lofthouse of Cedar Ce-dar City, Darma Lofthouse of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Carr of Centerville. Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins and family spent Thanksgiving day with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones and family at Provo, then visited Mr. and Mrs. Jay Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Burnham at Salt Lake, where they spent the week end. Colleen Mayer celebrated her fifth birthday on Sunday, Nov. 30, with Marilyn and Tommy Mayer, May-er, Adele, Adrianne and Allan Mayer, Janice and Deborah IMil-ler, IMil-ler, Russell Lee, Dickie and Odette Mayer, and 'Annette Puffer. Games and refreshmnets were enjoyed by the children. Keith Gillins celebrated his 11th birthday Tuesday, Nov. 18. Seventeen Sev-enteen boys and girls enjoyed games and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer and children, Mrs. Opal Walker, De-anna De-anna and Ronnie motored to Cedar Ce-dar City Saturday where they visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gale and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jaimes Urie and family. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Price were Mr. and Mrs. Norrise Bidgood of Delta. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rowley were Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Davies of Burbank. Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Barnes enjoyed en-joyed a trip to Fontana, Calif., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Barnes and daughter. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Jay Prez and children at Riverside. Those enjoying Thanksgiving at the home o Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Jones were Mr. and Mrs. Leland Jones and family of Monmouth, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Walker Find-lingson Find-lingson of Leamington; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jones and two daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Del-Roy Del-Roy Jones and two daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Miller spent Thanksgiving with their' aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Briest and Miss Ruth Peterson Peter-son of Flagstaff, Ariz. Enjoying Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Goodwin were Mr. and Mrs. Rue Nielsen, Mrs. Mary Goodwin of Beaver, and Orrin Goodwin. Mr. and Mrs. George Goodwin and Mrs. Irene Stewart and son were in Cedar City Tuesday on business. Home for the Thanksgiving week end wer-i Miss Jennie Sue Smith, who is attending the U of U and taking nurses training, and Miss Georgia Beth Smith, who is attending the U S U at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. McCoy Willians and children drove to Provo where they took Tamie to see an eye specialist, spe-cialist, then drove in to Salt Lake to see the Christmas Parade. They also enjoyed two days visiting Mr. and Mrs. James Laughter of Og-den. |
