Show MILFORD YOUTH SHOT IN FREAK ACCIDENT Larry Kinross, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kinross of Milford, suffered serious but not critical injuries in a freak gunshot accident acci-dent last Thursday evening. A bullet fired from a supposedly empty .22 pistol entered his upper lip, shattered his teeth and upper jaw, and lodged near the spina in the back of his neck. It is believed the teeth slightly deflected the course of the bullet, saving Kinross' life. Young Kinross, Boyd Myers, Er-rol Er-rol Bird and Danny Bedingfield, all Milford High School students! had parked in a car in front of the Grant Anderson home on Main Street, after a rabbit hunt. They had supposedly emptied the gun, and Boyd Myers idly snapped the trigger action several times. Kinross Kin-ross said he suddenly yelled and jolted the seat and Myers, startled, pulled the trigger as his hand jerked upward. The gun fired, with the 'bullet striking Kinross in the lip. |
