High 4 ' A"" School -- - Notes ' 1 By Julie Ann Farrer After a festive holiday of sumptuous sump-tuous food, fun, and some hours of etra studying, students of B H S returned from Thanksgiving in a bit of a hnury. , Mr. Heslington announced that in order to meet requirements of the Northwest Accrediting Association Associ-ation schedules would be changed slightly. Classes are now scheduled sched-uled to begin at 8:30 each morn ing. Beaver High has always been proud of its accredited standing, and it is hoped that students will cooperate fully. DEMOCRACY FINALS-HELD At finals for the "I Epeak for Democracy" contest held Wednesday, Wednes-day, Nov. 26, in the B H S auditorium audi-torium Kaye Terry was awarded first place. Julie Ann Farrer was named second and Gayle Murdock third. Kaye will compete with winners win-ners from other high schools for the state title. Good luck, Kaye, and congratulations on your accomplishment! ac-complishment! PARTY SCHEDULED F F A and F H A members will have a party on Thursday, Dec. 4. Plans are for skating in the American Legion hall, after which a tasty lunch will be served. Officers of the two clubs will jointly act as the committee in charge. |
