Smith were among those who attended the Temple Excursion to Salt Lake City last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray D. Nicholes were business visitors in the capitol city Wednesday. Mrs. Karl L. Taylor and two daughters, Dorothy and Arlene, of Provo, were guests at "the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen L. Taylor Tuesday. Misses Helen, Virginia and Geral-dine Geral-dine Eggertsen left Wednesday for Manti, where they visited several days with friends. Mrs. Arthur Adams of Salt Lai ' City, was a Sunday visitor at the1 home of Mrs. Jane Robinson. M'iss Phyllsa Boley of Idaho, is visiting indefinitely with relatives in American Fork and Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Seastrand announce an-nounce the arrival of a fine baby boy born June 24. All concerned are doing very nicely. Mr. and Mrs. John lulls are in Ogden valley for an indefinite visit with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Penrod, and family. Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Adamson and daughters, Rose and Helen, and Miss Phyliss Boley, who is here from Idaho Ida-ho visiting relatives, spent the weekend week-end in Strawberry valley. Mrs. William Street and two babies of Garfield, returned home Sunday, after a week's visit here with her mother, Mrs. Charles Chamberlain. Mrs. Louis Birk and daughter, Ruth, and Mrs. Neldon Birk and children, Jack and Betty, are in Salt Lakes Oity for a ten days visit with; relatives. Mrs. ,Leo Morris and three sons returned to their home in Glensferry, Idaho, last Friday, following a three weeks visit with Mrs. Morris's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Grace Coates. Miss Nona Brown of Murray, and Miss Lillie Eggett of Bountiful, were the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Gaisford this week. Miss Virginia Brown left Sunday morning for Copperton, where she will visit indefinitely with her brother broth-er and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brown. Mrs. Paul Allen an'd daughter, Bar-barra, Bar-barra, of Salt Lake City, spent the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Briggs, enroute to Roosevelt Roose-velt to make their future home. Baker Was a week-end visitor in Salt Lake City, guest at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Will-iam Patterson. Master Lawrence Patterson accompanied her home for a week's stay. Miss Lydia Clsen returned to Salt Lake with the Eatchelors for a week's visit. Mrs. Frank Foster of California, who has been here the past two weeks visiting with Mrs. Charles Chamberland and family, left last Friday for Idaho, where she will spend two weeks visiting relatives, before returning to her home. Mr. an'd Mrs: Merrill White In company with a group of Salt Lake friends formed a party Saturday evening and motored to Saltair, where a picnic supper and dancing was enjoyed, along with the concession conces-sion entertainment. Mrs. Jennie Tanner and daughter, Faye, spent July 4th in Provo, guests at the home of Mrs. Tanner's mother, Mrs. Peter Anderson. Miss Faye left the following day for Midvale, where she will spend two weeks at the home of her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever. , Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fox are leaving leav-ing Monday morning, July 8, for a week's trip through Southern Utah. They expect to visit Zions and Bryces canyons and other places of interest enroute. The Second Ward Relief Society Society will hold their regular work and business meeting next Tuesday afternoon, July 9, at the home of Mrs Bertha Sager. The meeting will commence at 3 p. m. Mr. Hoffman is employed as merchandising manager at the Graybar Electric Co. Mrs. Hoffman and four children, who accompanied him here, has been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Konold, and will not return to Denver Den-ver until July 15. While in the sunny state they visited with Mrs. Bernard Dempsey and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Gustaveson In Los Angeles, and with Mrs. Veda Aydelotte Ayde-lotte at .Long Beach. Both enroute to and from California they called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Roberts at Cedar City. A. B. Allen Is leaving Sunday for Logan, where he will attend the State Convention for the Vocational Agricultural teachers. He will return re-turn late in the week for his wife and family who will accompany him to the Farmers Encampment to be held at Logan July 15 to 18. Mrs. Allen and children will visit in Nephi with j her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis j Garrett, while Mr. Allen attends the j conference.
