Hackett $ Lehi, were July 4th guests of it and Mrs. Joseph F. Marsh. u ALPINE NEWS Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. The Seagull girls, Beth Mc Daniel, Maurine Strong, Hazel Hunter, Marie McDaniel, Ida Healey and Edith Marsh, entertained their mothers at the home of their teacher, Mrs. Loy Beck, Saturday, June 22, at 3 p. m. A delicious two course dinner was cooked and served by the girls under the supervision of their class leaders, lead-ers, Mrs. Beck and Mrs. Willard Cleghorn. The guests were seated at one long table which was centered center-ed with a large vase of pink and white peonies. The placecards were pink with a white seagull on them. Tributes to the mothers were given giv-en by Hazel Hunter, Maurine Strong and Beth McDaniel. After dinner, gaimes and social chat were enjoyed. The mothers present were: Mrs. F. O. McDaniel, Mrs. Mark Strong, Mrs. Robert Hunter, Mrs. Frank Healey, Mrs. Ernest McDaniel and Mrs. Joseph F. Marsh. June 23rd the children of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bates pleasantly surprised sur-prised their father in honor of his birthday.
