Theobald enjoy-i ed Saturday night at Mutual Dell with Mrs. Theobald's parents, M'r. and Mrs. George Richards. Hazel Aagard of Provo, is the guest of Miss Helen Weeks this week. She joined the Third ward girls at Mutual Dell, part of the time. Miss Thelma Shoell returned home Wednesday evening from the L. D. S. Hospital where she underwent under-went an operation for goitre about ten flays previous. Norma Smith motored to Fish Lake last week with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Smith, and family of Nephl. They enjoyed a very pleasant fishing trip. Miss Josephine West was operated operat-ed on for gall stones, at the L. D. S. Hospital Tuesday. Although a very serious operation, she is reported to be doing as well as can be expected. The Third ward spent the first part of the week at Mutual Dell. At one of the evening programs there were 250 ward members and guests present. Mrs. NMa Bradley of Moroni, daughter of Mary B. Hales who has been visiting her mother for the past two weeks, returned' to her home Monday. The Windsor Ward M. I. A. have been at Mutual Dell the past three days. On July 4th, sixty-eight yuests enjoyed dinner together. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Miller who have been visiting the past two weeks with their mother, Mrs. Polly Harris, returned Monday to their home in Ray, Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Walker and family and Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Bullock Bul-lock returned Wednesday night from Strawberry Valley where they enjoyed enjoy-ed a four days fishing trip, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frampton returned last Thursday evening from a week's trip through Yellowstone Park. They report an excellent trip. The Utah-Juab County firemen's association will meet at American Fork, Sunday, Ju'y 7. A number of tho local firemen and their wives will -attend. Mre. Charles J. Olson entertained at dinner Friday evening in honor of her husband's birthday. The guests were: Mr .and Mrs. Ole Anderson, Mr .and Mrs. J. G. Johnson and Mr. iid Mrs. R. B. Thorite of Magna. Goorgo L. Smith, Herman Parduhn, LoRoy Thorne, Howard Thorne, Ike Hayes and Errol Halliday returned Tuesday from a fishing trip to Strawberry Straw-berry Valley. Mrs. Maggie Johnson of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Christene Danieison and daughter of American Fork were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. War-nick War-nick Friday. Mrs. Annie Holman, Mrs. Martin Monson and Mrs. Delbert Chipman of American Fork were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Warnick Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Armond Webb returned re-turned Tuesday from a week's trip through Yellowstone Park. They are visiting for a short time with Mrs. Webb's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Shoell. John Evans of the Manila ward underwent a serfous operation Tuesday Tues-day at the Lehi Hospital. He had been ill with pneumonia which left the lung affected so that an operation opera-tion was necessary. Mr. and Mrs. Jens P. Fugal, Mrs. Steniai, Clayton and John C. Christen-sen Christen-sen motored to Duchesne last Sunday to attend the funeral of a relative. They accompanied relatives to Midway Mid-way Monday where interment was made, returning home Mohday evening. even-ing. Mr. and Mrs. M'ilford Gardner of Afton, Wyoming, visited last weekend week-end with Mrs. Gardner's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Fugal. Mr. Gardner returned the first of the week, but Mrs. Gardner remained for an indefinite in-definite visit. Mrs. Roy Meechani and baby, Paul, of Springville, were guests this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Warnick. Mr. ana Mrs. Glen Wadley are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival of a winsome baby girl born Tuesday. All concerned con-cerned are doing nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Maxfield and family motored to Chester, Sanpete Co., Sunday and spent the day visiting visit-ing with Mrs. Ellen Maxfield Irving and family. Mrs. Ethel Drysdale entertained eight ladies at her home Tuesday I evening. The time was spent in social chat, after which a dainty luncheon was served. Misesis Gennieve Fugal, Emma Ludwigson, Ruth Eldredge and Messrs. Roy Smith, Grant Atwood ami Warnick Swenson enjoyed the Fourth of July at Heber. Mis.3 Effie Mary Warnick entertained entertain-ed a group of young folks at a house party Friday evening. Out door games were enjoyed, followed by delicious de-licious refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. James C. Peterson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Thornton, Mr. and Mre. William Peterson and family and Sir. and Mrs. 1'. L. Johnson and family motored motor-ed to American Fork Canyon Tuesday evening and enjoyed a picnic dinner. "Bishop and 'Mrs. L. M. Atwood of the Manila ward, entertained at a Warnick family reunion at their homo last Wednesday evening, in honor of Ftlie Mary Warnick, who will leave soon for a mission to the Western States. Warnick and family enjoyed en-joyed the Fourth of July at the Warnick War-nick cabin in Deer Creek, American Fork Canyon. Vivian Baxter and Orin Swenson ot Los Angeles, California, are visiting for two -weeks with Mrs. Baxter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Baxter. On Wednesday they motored to Magna, Mag-na, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. David Baxter of the Windsor ward and Mrs. Elizabeth Baxter of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Hans Williamson and children, Dorothy, Richard and Stanley, Stan-ley, left Monday -morning by auto for Madison, Wisconsin, to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Williamson's "daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R.
