Show Filtex Co. Has S. H. Quarters One of Sugar House's newest businesses is Filtex Co. of Utah, managed by Mr. Kenneth Neal since March 17, and located at 782 E. 21st South. With his wife, Loleta, Mr. Neal manages the firm which has the Filtex franchise as distributors for all of Utah. Mrs. Neal designs the 1 window displays and acts as as- sistant manager. I Branch Offices Mr. Neal said that tentative plans call for opening branch offices in Ogden and Provo. At present 12 salesmen are working work-ing out of the local office. General offices and factory of the company are in Los Angeles. Prior to their promotion to the Utah distributorship, Mr. and Mrs- Neal were located in San Diego where Mr. Neal was Filtex Fil-tex branch manager. 'World's Finest' Filtex, "The world's finest home-cleaning machine," was oiiginally a tank-type vacuum cleaner produced in Germany. However over a perio'l of years, it has been perfected to be much more than just a vacuum cleaner. The machine is now produced in this country under the leadership of Mrs. E. G. Hoppe. president, and widow of the company's founder in America. Amer-ica. "Many new ideas were developed devel-oped by Mrs. Hoppe, 'from a woman's viewpoint,' wtiich have been adopted in the latest models." mod-els." Mr. Neal said. State's Center-Mr. Center-Mr. and Mrs. Neal chose Sugar Su-gar House as headquarters for their state-wide operation, because be-cause they felt that this community com-munity was the center of the state's business. |
