Show GEO. MAVRAKIS CALLED TO SERVICE George N. Mavrakis, popular Sugar House businessman Wednesday was called back into active service with the United States Marines. Mr. Mavrakis is a World War II veteran. For the present he has been assigned to recruiting duty with headquarters head-quarters at Ft. Dougias in Salt Lake. He holds the rank of staff sergeant. Chamber Member Mr. Mavrakis, owner-operator of Chubby Lunch, 1111 E. 21st South, is a member of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce. He lives with his wife and two children, Nick 5, and George Jr. 1, at 1443 E. 3115 South. While Mr. Mavrakis is in the service, Miss Peggy Sharpie will manage Chubby Lunch. |
