Show ; 1CJH, Central still unbeaten BOUNTIFUL As of Friday, the Kaysville and Central Davis Junior High boys' basketball teams remained unbeaten after 7 games. The Knights upended Mi 11 creek last Tuesday 71-54 and went on to pound Mueller Park 68-44 on Friday keeping their winning streak alive and boasting a 7-0 season thus far. On Tuesday, Central demolished Centerville 86-62 and returned to action Friday thwarting Bountiful 70-47. Central Davis also boasts the region's only other perfect record at 7-0. Centerville returned to action Friday to beat Syracuse 66-50 and up its record to 4-3. Earlier that week. Bountiful Junior lost to North Layton 74-46. B JH now falls to 2-5 on the season. In other county action, South Davis Junior High is 6-1 after beating Sunset 68-52 on Tuesday and North Davis 78-68 on Friday. For the Mueller Park Panthers, the last week has been a long one. MPJH lost to North Davis Tuesday 60-42 and fell to Kaysville 68-44 on Friday. Unfortunately, last week was also a long one for other area junior high squads. Farmington lost to Syracuse 51-58 Tuesday and was defeated bv Sunset 81-59. The Huskies are 2-3 on the season. |
