Show . g Services Slated ForPayson Man; Killed by Auto PAYSON Funeral services for Lacy Eugene Young, 43, of Pay-son, Pay-son, killed in an automobile accident acci-dent midway between Loa and Lyman in Wayne county late Friday Fri-day night, will be held Wednesday 1022, to Sabra Schaugaard at Loa. The family had lived fn Payson nine years. Surviving are the widow, four children, Fay, Bernice, Wayne and Milo Eugene Young, all of Payson; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Jensen and Mrs. Verl Smith, and six brothers, Dagbert Young of Duchesne, Ed Young of Pleasant Grove, Alfred Poung of Pinegree, Ida., Floyd and D. C. Young of Burely, Ida., and Leonard Young of Nevada. at 2 p. m- m the Payson Second L. D. S. ward chapel. Burial will be in the Payson city cemetery. ceme-tery. Mr. Young was killed when a passing car knocked him from the running board of another automobile. It was the first auto traffic fatality chalked up in Wayne county in four years, it was reported. Mr. Young had been riding on Lhc running board of an automobile automo-bile driven by Jess Wood, 62, of Yyman, and occupied by his wife, and other members of his family who were en route to Wayne county for a homecoming celebration. According to reports, a car coming in the opposite direction passed the Young machine and created a cloud of dust that obscured ob-scured the vision of Dee Callahan, 18, of Hurricane, driving a second car which sideswiped the Woods' automobile. Mr. Young was born August 2, 18D6, at Orangeville, a son of Squire D. and Cyrena Stilson Young. lie was married June 1, |
