Members of the First Ward Book of Mormon class spent a delightful evening Sunday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Averett Billings. The group conducted an open forum under direction of Cliiford Pierce and a number of interesting discussions were held. In conclusion, refreshments were served to more than 20 members in attendance. The meeting next Sunday night is scheduled to be held at the home of Mrs. Emil Ostlund. Mrs. J. F. Wingate is chaperoning chaper-oning a group of girl friends on a trip to Bryce canyon this week. Included in the group arc the Misses Ila Clyde, LaVern San-ford. San-ford. Mary Louise Wingate, Lois Johnson and Helen Nelson. Miss Margaret Lowe, daughter of John Lowe, who has spent the summer with Mr. and Mrs. Lowe at the Arthur Sanford farm, has returned to Baggs, Wyo., to attend at-tend school. Mrs. Ray Whiting and children of Ogden, spent a few days of the past week with Mr. and Mrs. John Whiting and also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Za-briskie Za-briskie at Soldier Summit. Mrs. Olive Anderson has returned re-turned to her home in Springville following a months visit with her daughter and family in Canada. SOCIETY NEWS Mrs. Ethel Robison of Salt Lake City, has returned to her home following two weeks' visit with her mother, Mrs. Agnes Mc-Kee, Mc-Kee, and other relatives, all of whom entertained extensively for her during her stay. Miss Ruth Sanford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sanford, has returned to her home here after spending a year in West-field, West-field, New Jersey. Mrs. Eva Starr ot Richfield, has been visiting relatives and friends in Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Copeland have returned to their home in Los Angeles, Calif., after spending spend-ing the summer with Mrs. Cope-iands Cope-iands parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cates. Mr. Copeland will return to his work with the U. S. Spring & Bumper company. Mrs. Peter Nielson has returned return-ed from Tuscon, Ariz., where she had been' visiting her daughter, Elaine, who is convalescing from a recent illness; also another daughter who is employed as a nurse in a government ' hospital there. The Primary stake board, under un-der the direction of President Mae Huntington,' will entertain at their annual party for primary officers and teachers Friday afternoon, af-ternoon, at Park Ro-She. The social had previously been announced an-nounced for Arrowhead resort, but has been changed. Members of the Fidelity club resumed their parties with a meeting last Wednesday night, at the home of Mrs. Olive Miller, following a summer recess. Bridge was the feature of entertainment en-tertainment following a delicious delici-ous luncheon. Prizes for the games were won by Mrs. Flora Maitcn, Mrs. Roy Cates and Mrs. Fay Cranmer. Others in attendance attend-ance were Mrs. Ann Johnson, Mrs. Rose Roylance, Mrs. Delia Dallin, Mrs. Mary Clegg and Mrs. Marie Morgan, the latter being welcomed as a new member. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fullmer have gone to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, to spend a few weeks for the former's health. Members of the early Mary Narley school for girls in the class of 1872, went to Draper last Thursday to visit Mrs. Julia Maycock, another member of the class, who is now making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Wilda Beck. Those making the trip were Mrs. Ellen McKenzie, Mrs. Maggie Metcalf, M'rs. Ab-bie Ab-bie Bird and Mrs. Mary J. Fin-Icy. Fin-Icy.
