Show WILLARD S. LANGTON DIES IN NEW YORK Word was received here yesterday o! the death of Professor Willard S. Lans?-lon Lans?-lon in New York at "S o'clock yesterday morning. The body will be taken to Logan. Mr. Langion's old home, for burial. Until five years ago, Professor Lantrton was the head of the mathematics department depart-ment in the Utah Agricultural college at Logan. At the time of his death he was head nf mathematics at the Cooper Institute Insti-tute in New York. He was recently operated op-erated on for intestinal trouble. Willard S. Lang-ton was born at Smith-field, Smith-field, Utah, February 20, 1S72, son of the late Seth and Sarah Kane Langton. Ho received nis early education in the Cache valley schools and later was graduated from the University of Utah. Ho is survived sur-vived by the widow, Mrs. Nell Bullen Langton, one son. Glbbs, aged 15 years; two brothers. Seth of Los Angeles. Cal., and Professor James A. Langton of Salt Lake; two sisters, Mrs. A. G. Barber of Logan, and Mrs. R.' JU Ormsby of Rex-burg, Rex-burg, Idaho, and a foster sister, Mrs. W. J. Flowers of Overton, Nov. |
