Show SPRY LEADS MARCH AT U. A. C. DANCE Special to Tho Tribune. LOGAN, Feb. 22. The annual ball given giv-en here tonight by the cadets of the Agricultural college the big event of the year in Loga n educational circles was largely attended. Among the guests of honor were Governor Spry and members of his staff, other state officials, members of the legislature and a number of high school cadets from Salt Lake City and Ogden. The visitors arrived In Togan about 5 o'clock in the afternoon, and after dinner din-ner upon the train, which was served through the courtesy of the Oregon Short Line, they were escorted up town by a committee representing the college and tho city. After viewing the new hotel and other points of interest the guests repaired to the Thomas Smart gymnasium, gymna-sium, where the Agricultural college ca- I dets gave an exhibition drill. Dancing continued until a late hour. Tho grand march, which was led by Governor Spry and Mrs. Sanchi, wife of Lieutenant , Sanchi, preceded the drill. i The great gymnasium was decorated in patriotic colors, in keeping with the spirit of the day. The attendance was the largest in the history of such affairs, af-fairs, being estimated at 800 to 3000. The visitors will leave foi Salt Lake at an early hour in the morning. |
