Show Arm Broken In Auto Accident Saturday morning at 1:30 a m, David Pace, son of Dr. Pace of the State Mental hospital, and Mr Bird of Salt Lake City, in a Oadallac sedan se-dan were proceeding north on the State highway when near the home of George B. Peay, a horse attempted attempt-ed to cross the highway. The car hit the horse and pushed it some distance in front of the car killing it, then skidded into an electric ! light, pole holding the transformer ; for the State highway residents. The , impact snapped the pole off putting the entire town lighting system out. , Golden Peay who was just return-jing return-jing home from work in American 'Fork canyon, ran to the rescue of the young men. One was unconscious unconsci-ous and the other was in terrible pain. Mr. Peay extricated them from the completely demolished car and hailed a passing motorist who took them to the American Fork hospital, where it was found that Mr. Pace was suffering from a broken brok-en arm and Mr. Bird was suffering from scalp wounds. The car was the nearest thing to a complete wreck one could emagine. |
