Show o FARMERS RECEIVE SPECIAL TRAINING AT COLLEGE Mr. Abner Baird and Mr. Wells Wignall of Payson, Mr. Delmar Hair and Mr. Reed Hales of Tdndon, Mr. Harold Walker of Pleasant Grove, Mr. William H. Nielsen of Palmyra, Mr. George Pierce of American Fork, and Mr. Delbert Norman of Lehi are delegates from Utah county to the first annual agricultural training course in session at the Utah State Agricultural college from December 5 to 15. An intensive but varied program has been arranged by the Extension Exten-sion Service for the 65 farmers who are registered for the special work and from all indications "a good time is being enjoyed by all". Morning Morn-ing comes at 6 a. m. and the lights are turned out at 10 p. m. each day. Three subjects are being emphasized empha-sized this year; Forage crops, poultry management and the care and repair of farm machinery. Five hours each day are devoted to- these three important im-portant phases of the Utah farm program. |
