Show LOCAL 1 J. M. Hughes returned the latter part of the week from Logan, where he had been attending summer school. Frank J. Haddock, linotype operator operat-or on the Milford News and Keith Fernley of the P. F. E. force, returned return-ed Monday night from Fish Lake where they had enjoyed a few days vacation. Karl S. Carlton was able to be down town after a severe ten days' illness. Mrs. Jesse Skinner and son, of McGill, Nev., visited her daughter, Mis. Laura Bradfield in Milford over the 24th celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Z. M. Loper were in from Burbank for the celebration Monday. Miss Betty Murdock was in charge of the town office several days the past week while Town Clerk Letha Schow enjoyed a vacation at Puffer Lake. Helen Kinney has returned home from Logan where she spent the past two weeks visiting. Harold Jameson of Minersville was in Milford this week. Howard Wilson of Salt Lake City is a Milford visitor. The Beehive girls of Milford returned re-turned home Thursday from the Beehive Bee-hive home in the Beaver mountains. They report a very enjoyable time. Miss Nllie Theisen spent the weekend week-end with Louisa While at Nada. L. R. Fournier, of Richfield, spent a few days in Milford the first of the week looking after the interests of the Telluride company. County Clerk Wm. A. Miller and wife, of Beaver, were over to participate partici-pate in the Pioneer Uay celebration Monday. Bob Murdock returned home last week from California, where he spent the past three weeks visiting relatives. relativ-es. Mrs. J. T. Wardenburg and daughter daugh-ter of Salt Lake City were visiting friends in Milford last week. Sheriff Neils (Jensen and County Attorney Abe Murdock were over from Beaver Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Tattersall and Miss Martha Hurst came over from Beaver Friday, returning home Saturday. Sat-urday. Tom Scliow departed Tuesday morning' for Los Angeles to take in the Olympic games. Mayor 0. F. Hubbell met with the County Commissioners Tuesday in Beaver. A special meeting was held by the commissioners for the purpose of fixing the tax levies. Ray Barton was down from Salt Lake City Tuesday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel 0. White, of Beaver, were in Milford Tuesday to bring their guests, Mr. and Mrs. 'Royal Terry to their train. The latter lat-ter were returning to their home in Lynndyl, after a week spent in Beaver. |
