Show WHY THE SLUMP? An economist has given the following homely simile. A number num-ber of boys are given the exact number of marbles. They begin to play. A super-skilled shooter wins all the marbles from all the other boys. He finds that he has spoiled, his own game of all the others. It might be said that we have had too many super-skilled financial shooters in the various games of finance with the result that they have spoiled the game of life for so many that they are now becoming conscious of the fact that they are also spoiling their own game. Some grafters are learning that if everybody grafts there will be nothing to graft on. |
