Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Powell Smythe, of Caliente, spent j the week-end in Milford with his I parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eph Smythe. I ' H. G. Snyder, of Salt Lake City, arrived in Milford Wednesday evening even-ing to look after business interests. Mr. Snyder is Secretary-Treasurer of the Maud S. Mining- Company. Mr. and Mrs. James Reeve and Miss Rosser of Salt Lake, were here this week. Mrs. Fred Leubtke, of Los Angeles accompanied by her two children, is visiting in Milford. Mrs. Daniel Stone, of Para"-oonah ;s visiting her daughter in Milford, Mrs. Chas. Beard. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott Haycock spent a few days here this week. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sutten have returned re-turned to Milford to reside. J. A. McKay, now of Clear Lake visited in Milford Sunday. J. J. Devereaux and S. J. Stephenson, Stephen-son, prominent wool buyers of Utah, were here this week. J. W. Johnson, the sheep man and wool buyer, was here Monday. Howard Candland, of Boston, spent Tuesday and Wednesday here. Geo. L. Bushnell and D. 0. Perkins are here from Salt Lake. John Gunderson, government sheep inspector of Mt. Pleasant, was in Milford Wednesday. Frank Palmer is up from Caliente. Milton Dalley and E. C. Brown of Idaho Falls, Idaho, were here the latter part of this week. Mrs. Josephine Mulldoon has returned re-turned from California. Mrs. Will Outzen's mother, Mrs. J. H.t Bartelson of Springville, is visiting visit-ing with the former and her family. D. E. Kirk went to Salt Lake City Sunday night for a business trip of a couple days. Wm. F. Miller, predecessor of - 'Mike' White at the Telluride Power company, and who left here some time ago to live in St. George, is back in Beaver county working at the Telluride plant up in Beaver canyon. A. E. Smith, local dealer for Whippet Whip-pet and Willys-Knight automobiles, is expecting a carload of Whippet cars in here Monday. Sheriff Nels Jensen, County Attorney At-torney Murdock, and County Superintendent Superin-tendent John Carlisle were in Milford Mil-ford on business Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. George Jefferson left the latter part of last week for Los Angeles, where they will spend about two weeks. LOST Shell-rimmed glasses. Reward, Re-ward, Phone 141. ltpd ; Mr. and Mrs. Burnett Fotheringham welcomed a baby daughter who arrived ar-rived Sunday afternoon to make her home with them. Dr. C. R. Parrish made a trip to Los Angeles on business. He has a shipment of hogs from his farm near Milford which he will dispose of on the Los Angeles market. He returns this week. Harry Livergood is driving a Ford coupe, purchased this week through Nichols and Zibriskie. |
