The boy scouts of Milford have been organized by Henry Bowman, who accepted this work as a project of the Lions Club. He has organizec' one troop, composed of two patrols Each patrol is composed of ladf grouped according to age. The ages for membership in the scouts are from 12 to 18. The charter for the Milford Lions Club troop was receive by Mr. Bowman recently. Scoutmaster Scoutmast-er Bowman states that while the membership is small, totaling twelve, he hopes to make up for that in quality before increasing quantity. Nine boys made the trip to Hanging Hang-ing Rock. They voted to not participate parti-cipate in the field events at Cedar, because of the fact that their troop was so young and small in numbers that it would not be possible to make a very creditable showing this year. The next meeting of the scouts will be Tuesday night. |
