Show Fanguitch Fatter Judy Henrie Mr. and Mrs. Donald Marshall, Salt Lake City visited his mother, Eva Marshall and Barbara's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Excell. Skip Houston was ordained to the IDS Priesthood on his birthday. Skip is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Houston. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dee Houston and Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Heaton. A family dinner was held afterwards. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dee Houston for Skip's ordination were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Houston, Beaver. Jan Frandsen and Diane Houston were in Salt Lake City where they attended meetings on the Womens, Infants and Childrens program used in the county. Alice Henrie has been in the hospital but is now recuperating at home. Val Church, Murray visited her mother Kate Church. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brienholt received word of the death of his mother in Richfield. Visiting Vane Davis and Mary Cherrington is Zane's daughter Kate. Alfhild Josie attended an art workshop in Salt. Lake City. JoAnn Miller met her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Elmer of California in St. George for a visit and business. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Foy are proud parents of their first baby boy. He has three sisters at home. Mr. and Mrs. M.V. Foy are the grandparents. Paul Hatch, Mac Hatch and David Orton were in Fort Collins, Co. for a week where they attended a livestockman school. They also visited with Mac's sister Mary Ann in Grand Junction, Colo. The Panguitch Senior Citizens took a bus trip to Mesquite, Nev. They enjoyed the buffet dinner and tried their luck at the one armed bandits. Those going were Mr. and Mrs. Verd Worthen, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilcock, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wilcock, Afton Church, Dolly Henrie, Ruby G. Myers and Mary Perkins. Carl Hatch has been in the Utah Valley Hospital at Provo and is now in the University Hospital in Salt Lake City where he is undergoing some tests. Qualifying to participate in State competition at the Allred. Travis Fagg, LyNea Matthews, Syephanle University of Utah are Panguitch students, Jody Koper, Roshelle Proctor, and Ann Middleton. Velma Huntington 735-4231 The Daughters, of Utah Pioneers held their meeting at the museum. Reva Lowder gave the lesson. A group of local folks went to the Cedar City bishop's storehouse cannery to can salmon. Attending from Hatch were May Sawyer, Calvin Wilson, Curtis Wilson, Terry Barney, Noreen Evans, Adell Riggs, Estella Riggs, the Darol Allreds, Hope Dalton and Ardis Evans. Kimberlle Hamblin and Cash Hamblin, Ariz, accompanied Bob. Evans to Cedar City and met Ardis Evans after the canning session and they all went shopping. Grant Dalton and picked up his wife Hope afterwards and took her to Parowan to visit the Wayne Stubbs. Speakers in church were Janet Sawyer, Lance Sawyer, Michael Sawyer, Verda Sawyer and Carta Sawyer. There was a special song by Merriam Nelson, accompanied on the piano by Delores Allred. Visiting the LaVal Sawyers were Kimball Sawyer, Phoenix, Ariz.; Deon Sawyer, Fredonia, Ariz, and Ryan Josie, Panguitch. |
