Show Students Qualify For State Drama Program Eighteen Panguitch High School students traveled to Southern Utah State College April 9 to participate in the Regional Drama, and Individual Events Tournaments. Six students qualified to compete in state competition April 26 and 27 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake, City. Students qualifying for state competition were; Jody Allred, superior rating in humorous interpretation of Erma Bombeck's "You Get Trouble."; Travis Fagg, excellent rating in humorous interpretation of Bill Cosby's "Revenge".; LyNea Matthews and Stephanie Roper, excellent rating in pantomime called "Cruising the Boulevard"; Roshell Proctor and Ann Middleton, excellent rating for scenes from "To Burn a Witch." Other students and their ratings were: Robin Holt, excellent in pantomime; Keven Hepworth, excellent in pantomime; Jody Julander fair, in humorous interpretation; Cauleen Golding good, in humorous interpretation; Tammy Moore good, in humorous interpretation; Michelle Frandsen good, in dramatic interpretation; Susan Townzen, Roshell Proctor, Ann Middleton, and Cauleen Goulding, good rating, in one act play 'To Burn a Witch." The students at Panguitch High School were given a taste of Panguitch's portion of the Regional Drama and Individual Events Tournament at a Music and Drama Assembly April 12, Just three days after the performance in Cedar City. |
