Show A PROTEST FROM CELL A Convict Son Protests Against the Pro-hate Pro-hate of His Father's Will and Alleges a Gigantic Conspiracy. Chicago, April 12. Jud?e Scales of the probate court received a singular letter today. to-day. . It, was dated "Cell 32, Stone, San Quinton Prison, California," and protested against permitting the will of Alonzo Wood being carried into effect. The letter was signed "From Frederick Lansing Woo l,' and declares the will the culmination of a conspiracy lastin through a series of years. Alonzo Wood was one of the pioneer citizens citi-zens of Chicago, and died recently, leaving an estate of 175,900. An examination of the will brings to light a clause disinheriting a son Frederick, described as having been given more opportunities than any of the testator's other children, and yet had repeatedly re-peatedly threatened the life of his father. The son, according to the will, is in prison for murder. . . |
