Holmes, a popular 4nd prominent prom-inent business man and pr6prletor of the Knutsford, haa brought suit for divorce from his. wife, Charlotte M. Holmes. Desertion is alleged as the cause for action. The complaint Was filed In the County Coun-ty Clerk's offlce on April 21, but did not appear on the books at the proper time, for some' reason or other, and consequently the public was not informed in-formed of the bringing or the suit at that time. -. . : Mrs. Holmes was served with a copy of the complaint at Santa Monica, Cal., April 22.. . Mr. and Mrs. Holmes were married at Cincinnati, O., May 28, 1278. The complaint state that Mrs. Holmes has deserted plaintiff and for one year has refused to live with him, and asks for a decree of divorce and the custody of their seventeen-year-old son,- Dwlght It. Holmes.- Mr. Holmes' attorneys are Howat & MaeMilian. Mr. Holmes tame to Salt Lake from Colorado twenty years ago, and during his residence here has been engaged in the hotel business.
