Show SNYDER IN HARNESS TO DEVELOFGOOD MINES a Wlllard F. Snyder has gotten back Into the harness again, since severing his connection with the Western Exploration Ex-ploration company. Articles of Incorporation Incor-poration were filed yesterday by the National Development company, with a capitalization of $1,000,000. divided Into shares of the par value of $5 each. The officials named In the new organization organi-zation Include Willard F. Snyder, president; Bismarck Snyder, vice-pres-' ident; Gideon Snyder, secretary and treasurer, who, with Grant Snyder and L. H. Outzen, . make up the directorate. direc-torate. The object of the organization's for the purpose of doing a general mining business, such as was conducted by the Western Exploration company when Peter L. Klmberly was alive, and of which company Wlllard F. Snyder took the active management up to the time of Mr. Kimberly's death. Since that time the Klmberly estate and the Buhl Interests have concluded to withdraw from the Western mining corporations. Mr. Snyder has gathered around him a set of young men who will be actively act-ively engaged in the advancement of the new organization. With this new organization perfected. per-fected. It is said that Mr. Snyder will have his engineers and experts out in the fields of Utah, Nevada, Idaho and California looking into any of the desirable mining properties which. with the assistance of capital, can be transformed Into a paying proposition. There has been $250,000 of the capital capi-tal stock of the National Development company subscribed. The new concern con-cern has interests In the Buckhom mine at Ophlr. the Galena King at Stockton, the Pacific Consolidated near Elko, Nev., and the Red Cross property prop-erty in California. With these properties proper-ties as a nucleus and the addition of some of the Snyder Interests In the Gold Mountain district, the company has a splendid foundation. One of the features of the new organization or-ganization Is the fact that It will be the means of bringing in a considerable consider-able amount of Eastern money, which will be used in the opening up of so much of the hitherto unexplored portion por-tion of the great mineral zones of Utah and neighboring States. It was Mr. Snyder who first Interested capital in three pf the districts of this State Stockton, Gold Mountain and Ophli- and In each of these sections he opened up . bonanzas, attracting the attention of mining men to some of the adjoining adjoin-ing ground and rejuvenating all three of the camps. In California he was the prime mover in the development of the great Balaklala miiTe, which he sold for a handsome profit to the Gug-genhelms, Gug-genhelms, and with his knowledge of the mining situation In the West the new organization has an assured carreer. |
