Thursday Ann Elmer and Henry Car-rigan Car-rigan filed the papers of a $5,000 suit for damage in" the clerk's office'of the Third District Court. The complaint is lodged against Messrs. Hall, Sells, Sowles, Wilkes, Lyons, DeWitt, Thrall, Armstrong, Arm-strong, McCook, Carroll, McNiece, Mackie and Wright, all prominent citizens citi-zens of Salt Lake, who were greatly surprised sur-prised on being called to defend themselves them-selves in a lively suit for damages, as directors of Mount Olivet cemetery It appears that on the 21st of August, 1880, the plaintiffs purchased a lot in the cemetery cem-etery for $20, in which Cora and Ellen Carrigan were interred. It is fnrth alleged that during last September the defendants caused to be removed from ei?,py,ate ,16t 53 t0 the "Strangers Field" the bodies -of. the two grind-children grind-children of Ann Elmer, without permission. permis-sion.
