Show Senator Beck Will Defend Silver. Washington, Deoember 11. The silver men apparently grow more and more displeased dis-pleased with the attitude on the silver question. ques-tion. Senator Beck is preparing a speech in reply to the President's remarks on silver. Bland says it could hardly be expected that an Eastern man, such as the Secretary of the Treasury, who was president of a national bank, would take any other attitude than to oppose the continued coinage of silver dol lars. He rather expected the President would be under the same influences. ' Publicity will soon be thrown on the Man-ton Man-ton Marble researches in Europe on this question. .
