The experiments and tests made in the j matter of lighting the Marsac mill at Park City by electricity seem to have resulted in a choice of the Thompson-Houston Thompson-Houston light as the one best adapted for j the purposes required there, and it is probable that the system mentioned will be retained against all comietition The Ihompson-Houston company has a complete com-plete system of electric lighting arc and incandescent and a livelv bid is now being made for Western business. The sohd standing of the company is combined com-bined with the latest improvements in their lme, and it is not improbable that Salt Lake may yet afford a field for their energy and enterprise, more particularly so in the way of lighting their improved system. The company is represent by Ur. 71. M. Ogden in the est, and headquarters and home office are in Boston. |
