Show - Work or Mexican Urigrauds. El Paso, Texa.?, February 16 J. T. Preston Pres-ton and Capt. G. H. Hawser, while en route from Sinaloa, Mexico, to this city, were attacked at-tacked by two Mexican bandits, near Panal, Mexico. Howser was killed and Preston wounded in the arm. Both men were, from Counoil Bluffs, Iowa. They were heavily interested in mines in Mexico. The defense made by Preston caused the bandits to fire. One of Crook's scouts is here. He says Geronimo has asked until the 21st instant to meet Crook. |
