Show Death of Eddie Wall. For more than a week the ominous yellow yel-low flag has hung out in front of Colonel E. A. Wall's residence on Second South street, and those who have passed the house daily wondered when it would be taken down. It had been placed there when the Colonel's little 6-year-old boy had fallen sick with diphtheria, and this morning the little fellow succumbed to the fearful ravages of the infection and was relieved from his terrible sufferings. He was a bright, interesting child, and the family's bereavement is unspeakablv sad. Our sympathies are extended to the family. |
