Show A Boom for Coeur D'AIene. New ' Tobk, January 25.-The Tribune savs A M. Cameron, the banker of Spokane Falls, is presenting to the Northern Pacific managers a plan for- two "feeders" to tap that line at his town. One line is to go ; southward into the Palouse river region, and the other southwest into the grazing lands. No road has yet been built into the Coeur d'Alene gold fields, but several routes have been surveyed. Hopkins is one of the heaviest investors in that region, and more gold and silver are being taken out every month, but it has got to be an old Btory now. "Harrington, "Harring-ton, president of the bank at Helena, was on the train with me the other day, when he said more gold came into his bank now from the Cceur d'Alene region than from all the rest of that section combined." |
