Show M. Fisher I dies at 78 Mildred Johnston Fisher, 78, of ' 775 N. 1400 E., Fruit Heights, formerly for-merly of West Point, died Wednes-1 Wednes-1 day, March 4, 1987 at the Humana u Hospital Davis North in Layton of : heart failure. She was born Oct. 11, 1908 in . Clinton, a daughter of John Richard and Rose Steed Johnston. She married Ira E. Fisher April 17, 1926 in Clinton. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Jan. ' 15, 1971. j She ' was reared in Clinton and lived in West Point for 60 years. She has resided in Fruit Heights for I 18 months with her son. , She attended Clinton public : ' schools. : She was a member of the Fruit ; Heights 3rd Ward. She served as ' MIA secretary and visiting teacher. , She was an active temple worker ( and was active in the Relief I ) Society. I Surviving are one son and two t daughters, Val I. Fisher, Fruit I I Heights; Mrs. Hazen (Beverly) De-n De-n ppe, Taylorsville; Ardell Peterson, j Kaysville; 11 grandchildren and 10 ; great-grandchildren. l Also surviving are three , f brothers, Morris Johnston, Syra- cuse; Norman Johnston, Salt Lake I ' City; Sterling Johnston, Riverdale. . : She was preceded in death by one son. ' , .' Services were held March 7 at MILDRED JOHNSTON FISHER the West Point 5th Ward with Bishop David C. Home of the Fruit Heights 3rd Ward officiating. Family prayer was by Lynn W. Deppe; prelude, Belva Mauchley; "O My Father" by Marian Barrett accompanied by Lynn Barrett; invocation, in-vocation, Keith F. Deppe; remarks. re-marks. Bishop David C. Home and Randall I. Deppe; "Somehwere My Love" by Ken and Karma Cook accompanied by Ken Cook; tribute, tri-bute, Marjorie Fisher; remarks, Derek Peterson; "Goin Home" by Marian Barrett accompanied by Lynn Barrett; benediction, Michelle Michel-le Peterson. Dedication of the grave was by Bishop Fred Fisher with interment in the West Point City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randall I. Deppe, De-ppe, Kurt V. Fisher, Lynn W. Deppe, De-ppe, Derek M.
