Show TIE BULLIONYILLE TAILINGS Roasting and Leaching Them br the Russell Lroccss Mr W S Goclbe who has lately returned re-turned from a trip to Bullionville Nevada Ne-vada where he has been to attend to his mining interests was met by a DEMOCRAT reporter this morning Mr Godbe said that he had been to Bullionville to examine ex-amine the large accumulation of tailings which the company has there I is estimated es-timated that there are fully 125000 tons lying in the pits These tailings he feels confident can be worked to advantage by their roasting process Thorough tests I have been made in the Howe furnace in the Raymond Ely mill the results of which have demonstrated that they can be worked to great advantage A large Stcdefelt furnace is now being built on the site of the old furnace and something like a hundred tons per day will be worked in it Even at this rate there is two or three years work ahead Theworks have just shut down after a very satisfactory run When the new furnace is completed it is proposed to runtime run-time works steady and Bullionville is so situated that the works will become a centre for all ores within a radius of seventyfive miles Mr Godbe thinks that things will be quite lively in that part of the country during the coming summer |
