| Show A Lire Long Odd Fellow Gone CHICAGO May 120 J Noble a prominent prom-inent official of the Order of Odd Fellows and of the United Workmen died here Friday Mr Noble was born in East Bloomfield New York in 1807 and was consequently 78 years of age He has always been an active workman in Benevolent Be-nevolent societies He joined the A 0 U W in Pennsylvania in 1872 was made Grand Master of Iowa in 1873 and afterwards after-wards served as Supreme Premier of the United States He instituted the first lodge of Workmen in the State of Illinois and the first lodge in this city His service ser-vice in the I 0 0 F has been life long and at the time of his death he was Past Grand Master of the State of Minnesota |
