Show pare page twelve state club leader reports four H work for 1937 more than boys and girls located in communities throughout utah enrolled last year in 4 H club work and 79 percent of them completed all the requirements quire ments the annual report issued by D P murray state cu club I 1 specialist at the utah state agricultural 1 college indicates twenty seven out of 29 counties of the state were represented in the groups of club members mr murray said the greatest number of clubs were organized as girls clothing project groups the report showed there were clothing clubs organized gani zed and 82 per cent of all registered girls completed their requirements there were foods and nutrition groups formed 38 clubs in home hoine science 41 in dairying 17 in sheep farming 38 in swine raising and clubs organized in beef production in 12 counties and in forestry 17 more than 1000 adults served as volunteer leaders of the groups last las t year almost a thousand boys and girls participated in demonstration teams there were of these groups organized I 1 A short course attended by members was held in logan from june 14 to 19 and a similar course was conducted for club leaders thirteen utah club members won union pacific scholarships giving them to apply on their first year of college work mr murrays Mur rays report showed |
