Show Elected president )r i J Mary J. Bone, Farmmgton, was elected president of the Utah State PEO organization at the 51st annual convention held May 9-10 at the Ogden Hilton. Linda Lee Shimmen, vice president; pres-ident; Bobbie Doidge, second vice president; Shirley Neal, organizer; Kristin Madden, recording secretary; secre-tary; Vivian Brindley, corresponding correspond-ing secretary and Helene Williams, treasurer. Frances Matney of Amarillo, Tex. and organizer of the International Interna-tional Chapter was guest speaker for several sessions on Friday and Saturday. Judy Dawson of Bountiful, a recipient re-cipient of a scholarship recently, spoke of her college plans where she will attend Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. A student from Ethiopia spoke of her pleasure in attending college in Utah with her scholarships received re-ceived from the PEO organization. The state members held a banquet ban-quet in the Ogden Union Station Friday with husbands as special guests. MARY J.
