VIEWMONT came close, getting get-ting goals from Jeff Smith and David Lauder, plus a team goal when a Davis fullback kicked the ball past his goalie. The Vikings fell to 3-3 in league, and are tied for third with Highland. Woods Cross remained on top or the league with a 6-3 win Tuesday night over Bountiful. The Wildcats led 4-0 at halftime. Chris Bingman and Henry Ihrig each scored two goals, while Mike Creer and Tommy Tom-my Angelos added one apiece. IT WAS a costly loss for Bountiful, Bounti-ful, because Chris Neve, a scoring leader, suffered a broken leg in the second half. Coach Rick Call says Neve will likely be lost for the season. sea-son.
