Show By CHERY COX Recipe for wonderful Wildcat Spirit! First of all we need a speck of enthusiasm with a dash of laughter. laugh-ter. These will serve to help all the other ingredients mix just right. NOW ADD a touch of Wildcat tennis. That's today when our Wildcats take on the Braves in the Bountiful courts at 3. This will give our spirit the "bounce" that it needs, and also help with the "love" at our school. Stir vigorously vigor-ously with a racket, then strain mixture through a net. When mixture obtains the " bounce" desired, it's time for a bit of baseball. This is Friday. Bountiful at WX. and Tuesday. Davis at WX. Both games are at 4. Pitch in some curves, and a few swings until it reaches a short-stop. This should create quite a lively "batter." OLR BATTER is now at a good consistency but it still needs a little kick. Time for soccer! Friday our soccer-cats take on Viewmont and Tuesday they take on Davis. Both games at home under the lights at 7:31). Our goal is now in sight as we gently fold in some kicks. Take note of this next ingredient. It will help to lighten our mixture. Our Woods Cross Madrigals will sing and dance in the Show Choir Festival at Viewmont on Wednesday Wednes-day at 7:30. Stir this in poco a poco (little by little), and take a rest if you need it. You should have no treble at all. IT'S TIME to give our mixture a tad-bit of strength. Our student-body student-body officers, old and new. will be at a UASC leadership conference in Layton today and tomorrow. By the way congrats to our new appointed officers. They are: Sara Wilson, publicity manager: Wendy Lyn Argyle. historian: Chris Thor-nock, Thor-nock, artist: and Jill Smith, photographer! photo-grapher! Kneed in the leadership until mixture is smooth, and no longer lon-ger sticky. Place in a school, just large enough to grow in to. Let the cheerleaders and school supporters suppor-ters heat it up until it gets good and cooking. Congrats to the new varsity var-sity cheerleaders: Kim Troth, Shirl Green, Amy Henderson, Monica Mallard. Jennifer Johnson and Erin Trenbeath! Serve while fresh, and share with everyone. Should make enough for just over 1 1(H)! |
