Show I EDITORIAL THE LONG-AWAITED drinking fountain in the heart of Sugar House was installed last summer much to the rejoicing of thirsty pedestrians. It wasn't long, however, before people were seen stooping over the fountain for a much-needed drink, only to find that no water was flowing. Maybe it's too cold to turn the fountain on now, but for the past few weeks the fountain could have relieved many parched throats if the city water department had only repaired its newest fountain. So many complaints have been registered at The Bulletin office, that we promised prom-ised to write an editorial. There arc four drinking fountains in the Sugar House business district. Our suggestion is that the city make a regular check on all four fountains to see that te" ae working properly. With the ever-increasing crowds of people shopping in Sugar House it is essential that there be a place where they can refresh themselves with a ui ink of water. |
