She is home now and they are greatly great-ly encouraged over her condition. condi-tion. MARY and RALPH KIRK-HAM KIRK-HAM and children spent Thanksgiving in Provo at the home of Ralph's mother, MRS. FRED JENSEN. . . SHARON and JEAN TANNER and family fam-ily had a wonderful old fashioned fash-ioned Thanksgiving at grandma's grand-ma's and grandpa's house, namely MR. and MRS. V. R. FISHER, (Jean's parents) of Oxford, Idaho. . . . MR. and MRS- GEORGE CLARK made it a family affair and had all the children home . . . CHET and NELLY CLARK and JANE and CHARLES CAMPBELL with LaVON helping with all the good things to eat '. . . MR. and MRS. FRED REES thrilled thrill-ed over having DALE home again after an adventuresome summer stretching into six months away from home. He spent part of the time in California Cali-fornia living with his brother and family and then up the coast of Oregon. He and DICK TITUS liked working down there but say home is best, especially es-pecially at this time of year. Dick is expected home any day. MR. and MRS. BURNESS BRADY and baby (BETH BELL) spent the holiday with MR. and MRS. CLIFFORD J. BELL. . . We entirely missed the news of the Aubrey baby and here is Amelia up and shopping shop-ping around. Anyway KENNETH KEN-NETH and AMELIA CROFT AUBREY have a brand new son and he is really a fine boy from all accounts. Did you hear about the WAL-TONS WAL-TONS over on 17th South, the night before they moved from our ward MRS. WALTON received re-ceived a phone call from a quizp program "Winner Take All-" They told her that her name had been drawn and if she could answer the question of where STEVEN. Mrs. DeMars was the dance director for the stake last year and Dr. DeMars is the manual counselor on the Y. M. M. I. A. board this year. Special guests at the fireside party were LILLIAN and EL-DON EL-DON WATSON from Fallon, Nev., who with their three children chil-dren are visiting here with MR. and MRS. ROBERT WATSON. Sorry to have them leave but Monday saw them off again. CLELA JORGENSEN had 24 guests for dinner Thanksgiving and managed to find beds for 18 of them over the week end. MR. and MRS. K. W. BURNETT BUR-NETT had a family dinner for Thanksgiving with just LaRUE and BRAD WILDE with tiny daughter TAMARA down from Bountiful- Just as they - were sitting down for dinner a call came through from daughter, MARIE, down in Oklahoma. She was cooking her first turkey and was having Lee's parents, brother broth-er and wife over. Marie is feeling much better and enjoying enjoy-ing every moment of furnishing furnish-ing her new home. . . BILL and MARGARET KLEINBERG Sen. Barkley came from. She . knew the answer and as her prize recieved a Westinghouse vacuum with all attachments. . . . Memorial services were held this week for Keith Cornia who was killed in Germany. Bishop Sorensen officiating at the Sunset Sun-set Mausoleum. LYNN ANDERSON was elected elect-ed new president of the Third Quorum of Deacons last Sunday, Sun-day, with NORMAN STOOF as first counselor, FRANK GREENBERG as second counselor coun-selor and ROGER COLEMAN as secretary. |
